Braided products

Braided products are (dry) textiles produced using various processes. In contrast to woven materials, braided products can be draped significantly better. They can be placed around bodies with demanding geometries. In our shop are available: braided sleeves, cords and tapes made from carbon-, glass- and basalt fiber, from polyester and as hybrid in various lengths and widths. These braided items are suitable to produce profiles of diverse types and sizes. Using for example sleeves and tapes, there is not only the possibility to influence the generated surface by stretching/compressing, but also the fiber angles, (ideal angle should be between 30° and 60°).

General properties: extremely light, corrosion resistant, well drapeable, low thermal expansion coefficient, very stable (composite).
