GFRP glass fiber / BFRK basalt fiber / CFRP carbon continuous rods are available from Carbonscout in diameters from 1.0 to 10.0 mm and wound on drums. A diagonal or cross winding on the surface guarantees optimum strength with very high flexibility. The integration of CU conductors, FO or coaxial conductors according to individual specifications is part of our core competence.
Our CG UHP (ultra high precision) endless rods are manufactured using pultrusion technology, a kind of strand drawing process. In this process, fibers made of glass, carbon or basalt are soaked in a resin bath and pulled through various stations by means of an through various stations and wound onto drums. The rod surface is with an all-round winding (diagonal or cross winding).
