CFRP UD flexible hose, width: 20 mm


CFRP UD flexible hoses are ideal for the production of all types of profile. Assuming an appropriate application process is employed, it can be guaranteed that the load-absorbing reinforcing fibres of the flexible hose are free of bubbles, with their entire surface lying seamlessly - consequently with no loss of strength - over and also around the edge of the structured core, and that they will be sufficiently saturated with the applicable resin system. The advantage of these hoses over braided hoses lies in the fact that the reinforcing threads all lie in the warp direction, hence ensuring a unidirectional fibre structure. The design of the weft thread is flexible enough to permit the material to adapt itself perfectly to every shape. This property is present, irrespective of the diameter. Epoxy or polyester-based resin systems are particularly suitable for our CFRP flexible hoses.
