CFRP braided hose Ø 20-65mm

CFRP braided hoses are ideal for the production of all types of profile. Assuming an appropriate application process is employed, it can be guaranteed that the load-absorbing reinforcing fibres of the braided hose are free of bubbles, with their entire surface lying seamlessly - consequently with no loss of strength - over and also around the edge of the structured core, and that they will be sufficiently saturated with the applicable resin system. The diameter of the braided hose can be modified by stretching or shrinking, ideally, the fibre angle should be between 30° and 60°. An angle of 45° provides the best torsional and shear strength performance. Reinforcement in the 0° direction can be achieved using so-called UD threads, which are twisted in. Epoxy or polyester-based resin systems are particularly suitable for our CFRP braided hoses.
